Welcome to Holiday on Wheels.
Holiday on Wheels (HOW) was established
in 1964 by Watkins Elementary School
principal, G. Bellinger Davis, Jr. (my
dad). What started as a part-time
venture to supplement an educator's
income became a full-time recreational
vehicle business.
In our 46 years, the one "constant" has
been our customers. Today, each one is as special
as the first one in 1964.
I once asked my dad, "How do I solve a
problem with a customer?" His reply was
"Put yourself into the customer's shoes,
and your response will always be
correct." It works for me and for our
dedicated general manager, John Sharpe,
who has also maintained that philosophy
over the past 20 years.
Today, both my father and my mother take
pride in watching my wife Kelly and me
continue growing our second generation
dealership.
